This new range of outdoor noise warning signs is available now from NoiseMeters. They consist of a SoundEar noise activated sign inside a weatherproof enclosure that is rated to IP65, making it ideal for noise monitoring on construction sites and around hospitals and entertainment venus.
The protection against dust ingress and physical damage make these signs suitable for many indoor installations too.
The outdoor noise signs are mounted on a wall using four screws and powered by an adapter and 32ft low voltage power cable.
Advanced data logging versions or basic non-logging noise warning signs are available.
This version of the Outdoor Noise Sign, order code SE2EAR-W, has the familiar ear symbol that lights up first green, then yellow and finally red, to indicate the noise levels are acceptable, getting high and too high respectively.
This model is ideal for generally quiet areas, to remind people to keep their noise levels down.
The Industrial version of the Outdoor Noise Sign, order code SE2IND-W, has a traffic-light style green, yellow, red display with hearing protection symbols. The green indicates that the sound levels are acceptable, the yellow indicates that the sound levels are getting high and the red light indicates that it is time to use protection or reduce the noise at source.
This model is ideal for construction sites and industrial environments where people need to be informed that it is time to take action on high noise levels.
