An optional data logging module is available that stores the average sound level every minute for up to four weeks before the noise data must be downloaded.
Once the warning level has been set, the data logging module operates from 18dB below the threshold to 30dB above.
Installation of the data logging version of the SoundEar II is identical to that for the standard SoundEar - see Installation.
To download the measurements, simply remove the logging module from the sign and plug it into your computer's USB port and run the SoundLog software.
The SoundEarPRO software is included with the SoundEar II logging module and can be installed on as many computers as you like - there are no license restrictions.
The program leads you through the process of downloading the noise measurements from the SoundEar and displays them graphically. The data can also be exported for analysis in Excel or similar spreadsheet.
